The transition to renewable energy has been overdue for a rebrand. For years the sector has been weighed down by soft greens, tired symbolism and a narrative that asks people to sacrifice in order to live sustainably. When SVEA Solar approached us, they were ready to challenge this perception. They wanted a brand that did not whisper about change but confidently pushed for it. A brand shaped by action, momentum and the idea that using power can be both responsible and empowering.
Reframing an Industry Stuck in Neutral.
SVEA Solar had already established itself as one of Sweden's fastest-growing solar companies. What they needed next was a brand strategy that could meet their ambition to become Europe's. Their challenge was twofold. They needed to shift how people see renewable energy and also how they think about the use of 'power'. Solar could not remain a category defined by low interest or dutiful behaviour. It had to become part of modern living, something people felt proud to adopt and eager to champion.
From the outset, we recognised that the wider energy category was suffering from visual fatigue. Its familiar palette and language had become synonymous with sameness. To reposition SVEA Solar as a category leader, the brand needed to step away from sustainability clichés and instead embody confidence, clarity and cultural relevance.

The Strategy: Power Shift
We anchored the brand strategy in one clear idea, Power Shift. It became the foundation for the narrative, the visual world and the voice of the company. Power Shift captured both a global movement and a personal invitation. It acknowledged the changing landscape of influence, technology and choice, and placed SVEA Solar at the centre of that transition.
The strategy allowed us to articulate two key ambitions:
1. A perception shift
How do you rebrand an entire industry? By moving it out of its comfort zone. We worked with the SVEA Solar team to strip away the outdated language of sustainability and build a brand that felt bright, electric and culturally attuned. The identity had to be something you wanted to live with, not something that made you feel virtuous. It needed energy in every sense of the word.
2. A mindset shift
Power is no longer something extracted, burned or wasted. Power is choice. Power is agency. And SVEA Solar believes that power should sit with the people. This perspective shaped the brand’s creative direction, tone of voice and messaging. It positioned them not just as an energy provider but as the instigator of a global shift from fossil to renewable.
Designing a System Charged with Energy.
The strategic direction explored the idea of power visually and verbally. We developed a bold identity that plays with the dynamism of electricity and the clarity of modern technology. Bright, charged colours became central to the system, supported by a clean, confident layout language.
This framework allowed us to create a suite of visual assets that felt fresh, forward-thinking and unmistakably SVEA. The brand sits comfortably between creativity and technology. It signals both expertise and attitude, making the company feel at home in a global tech landscape while remaining grounded in its mission. Product imagery was treated with equal importance. Solar panels, batteries and energy solutions were shown with intention and clarity. This combination of bold visual language and strong product presence created a brand that feels both aspirational and tangible.


Building a Brand That Moves People.
SVEA Solar’s new brand positions them as a leader in renewable energy, not by following the category but by reshaping it. It gives people an identity they want to be part of. It replaces guilt with pride and replaces obligation with momentum. Most importantly, it gives the energy industry something it has long been missing, a sense of cultural and emotional relevance.
