The United Nations
A borderless museum using culture to spark empathy and action. We partnered with the UN to launch UN Live, reconnecting younger generations with urgent global challenges.

Challenge
Connecting the UN with the younger generations.
For many young people, the UN feels distant and institutional. While its values resonate, its formats often fail to inspire. In an era shaped by cultural movements, digital platforms and shifting power dynamics, traditional methods of engagement were no longer enough. UN Live set out to change that by building a museum without walls, one that reached people where they are. The challenge was to create a unifying foundation that could spark action across diverse contexts while remaining adaptable to different cultural voices.
Solution
A living platform for participation.
We worked with the UN to define and launch UN Live with a clear strategy, brand identity and communications platform. At its heart was ‘Make Your Mark’, a global campaign encouraging young people to contribute their creativity and action toward a better world. The brand was designed to be open and optimistic, able to flex between digital, physical and social environments. With accessible language, cultural adaptability and bold visual storytelling, UN Live positioned itself as a participatory platform for collective action rather than a static institution.

Results
A global cultural force shaping youth engagement.
Since its launch, UN Live has become a growing presence within and beyond the UN system. The ‘Make Your Mark’ campaign has supported global rollouts and continues to foster youth-led creativity and participation. Engagement has increased across platforms and regions, while the identity system ensures unity without sacrificing cultural specificity. By reframing what a museum, and the UN, can be, UN Live stands as an open, global platform designed to move people from awareness to action.
