The Photographers Gallery – Correspondance
An interactive digital exhibition exploring connection and distance. We partnered with The Photographers’ Gallery to create Correspondance, blending image, video, illustration, and text into immersive rooms.
Challenge
Reimagining connection through the lens of a digital gallery.
The Photographers’ Gallery wanted to translate its curatorial voice into a digital format that could sustain engagement during a period of physical separation. The challenge was to design an online experience that felt intimate and alive, where visitors could sense presence through pixels. We needed to craft a space that could carry emotional weight and artistic nuance without the tactile cues of a physical exhibition.

Solution
Building an emotional architecture for digital storytelling.
We designed Correspondance as an interactive gallery composed of 11 digital rooms. Each one acts as a self-contained composition, bringing together user-submitted photography, illustration, video and text. Visitors navigate freely, uncovering over 50 personal perspectives gathered through an open call. This nonlinear journey turns viewing into participation, creating a collective portrait of time, place and connection through visual dialogue.

Results
A living archive of global creative expression.
The experience was celebrated as a poetic digital extension of the gallery’s mission, reaching new audiences beyond its physical walls. By blending open participation with curatorial precision, Correspondance redefined how exhibitions can exist online – transforming networked images into shared spaces of meaning and empathy.
